This opened the opportunity for the very Italian Lanfranco Cirillo rounding the top in first. Cirillo pulled away, extending their lead to win. Delta is second, Ramrod third, Warpath in fourth!

Regatta leader Ryan DeVos was shut out on the start of race one, and several teams called over early including Joel Ronning, Kip Meadows, Jason Carroll and Lanfranco Cirillo. The pressure was best on the left as Delta and Ramrod came into the mark almost dead even, followed by Ecklund’s STAR. Downwind, Ecklund got launched on the right, taking the lead from Delta by several boat lengths. STAR remained in the lead at the final mark, this time Ramrod now in second. John Taylor’ Ninkasi was third. STAR takes the win! Ramrod and Ninkasi at the finish, second and third.
